Day-1 (24-03-2023)
NSS Special camp was inaugurated at MPP School, Suddagunta village by 11.30 AM. In this Program College Principal Dr.S.Vijayulu Reddy, Mohana Murali ,MPDO; Dhananjaya Varma, Sarpanch; Smt.Latha Balaji, MPP; Balaji , YSRCP Dist Secretary; P.Prabhakar Reddy, Mandal Co-option Member; Village Volunteer; Nyamthulla, MPP School HM; Dr.C.N.Latha Lecturer in English; Dr.P Venkatesulu, Lecturer in Telugu; Jogi Prasad, Physical Director; Youth of Suddagunta village and 50 NSS Volunteers were participated. Dr.Dhananjaya Reddy, NSS Program officer explained about the activities and awareness programs to be taken in NSS camp such as Clean & Green, (1) 'Open defecation free' (ODF) awareness, (2) Health awareness ;HIV AIDS awareness, Corona-19 awareness; (3) "Single Use Plastic Ban" Awareness; (4) Free medical camp & Health awareness (5) Plantation Awareness & plantation of 100 plants;(6) door to door survey regarding 15-29 age group un-employed youth etc
Day-2 (25-03-2023)
On the second day of the NSS unit special camp of the Government Degree College at Suddagunta village, today 50 NSS volunteers removed wild plants and brambles in the vicinity of the local nursery school. Later, a training class in Yoga and Dhyana Mudra methods was arranged for NSS volunteers and students by Yoga Guru Master Jogi Prasad. Later, NSS volunteers of the college organized an awareness program through rally, slogans, placards about open defecation in chalk pit. Dr. S Vijayulu Reddy, NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy, Dr. P. Venkatesulu, lecturer in Telugu; MPP School HM Nayantulla; Suddagunta village youth and others participated in this program.
Day-3 (26-03-2023)
On the third day of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, a special camp of Government Degree College NSS Unit in Karvetinagaram mandal, Sudda Gunta village, 50 NSS volunteers removed wild plants and thorn bushes in the vicinity of the village and between the houses. Next the college NSS volunteers organized rally, slogans, placards about Corona and HIV AIDS with slogans like be aware of contagion, our health is in our hands. In this Program Dr. S Vijayulu Reddy, NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy, village youth and others participated.
Day-4 (27-03-2023)
On the fourth day of the special camp of Government Degree College NSS unit in Suddagunta village, Karvetinagaram mandal, as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, 50 NSS volunteers carried out a plastic ban program in the vicinity of Suddagunta village. About 100 kg of plastic covers and plastic bottles were collected and given to Karvetinagaram Panchayat. NSS Special Camp was visited by Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Executive Officer Lakshmipati and the volunteers were made aware of the health problems caused using plastic items, cool drinks, the need to ban plastic items and the responsibility of NSS volunteers. Next an awareness rally on the topic of "Single Use Plastic Ban" was organized with placards with slogans like "Drop Plastic Bags, Save Environment", Let's Reduce Plastic Use - Save Environment. College Principal Dr S Vijayulu Reddy, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Executive Officer Lakshmipati NSS Program Officer Dr Dhananjaya Reddy, Physical Director Jogi Prasad, village youth and others participated in this activity.
Day-5 (28-03-2023)
Karvetinagaram Mandal, Suddagunta Village, Government Degree College NSS Unit Special Camp On the fifth day, a free medical camp was organized for Suddagunta villagers and NSS volunteers in the special camp of Karvetinagaram Government Degree College NSS Unit, Suddagunta, in collaboration with Karvetinagaram Primary Health Center. Dr. Gopinath and his team participated in the program. In this special medical camp, a team of doctors conducted tests and gave instructions and medicines to 58 people. He also inspires about healthy and happy lifestyles. Mandal Education Officer Babayya also visited the NSS special camp and advised the NSS volunteers to cooperate with the government education system by conveying the importance of the government education system. Later, NES volunteers conducted a door-to-door survey of unemployed youth between the ages of 15 and 25 in Suddagunta village. College Principal Dr. S Vijayulu Reddy, NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy, 50 NSS volunteers and youth of Suddagunta village participated in this program.
Day-6 (29-03-2023)
On the sixth day of the NSS special camp at Suddagunta village of Karvetinagaram mandal Government Degree College NSS Unit was conducted “Vana Mahotsavam” program in association with Department Forest of Karvetinagaram. In this program, NSS volunteers spread and made awareness through placards in the chalk pit saying “Let's plant more trees!Let's save the environment!!” "Let's protect the trees, let's protect the environment" "Let's plant a tree for a house, a plant for a man". They are saving our lives by chanting about their importance. Afterwards, around 100 trees were planted voluntarily in the school premises, on the roadside and in Suddagunta Shiva Temple. Principal of the college Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy, Karvetinagaram Press Club, college teachers and villagers participated in this mass planting program. Day-6 (29-03-2023)
The closing program of the seventh day of the special camp of the NSS unit held from 24th March 2023 to 30th March 2023 at Suddagunta village under the auspices of Karvetinagaram Government Degree College NSS Unit was held at Siddha Sada Shiva Swami Gudi in Suddagunta. Dr. K. Kamalakar Reddy, a famous homeopathic doctor, philanthropist, owner of KR Industries, was the chief guest for this closing ceremony, and the NSS volunteers were asked to always have a sense of service. The chief guest Dr. K. Kamalakar Reddy said that NSS volunteers should learn time management work management methods, leadership qualities through service and learn life skills through NSS special camp. In this program NSS program officer presented a brief report about NSS special camp at Suddagunta, President of Siddha Sada Shiva Temple at Suddagunta K. Mohanaraju, who participated as the guest of honor in this closing program, said that the services of NSS volunteers are needed in the Shiva temple during festivals and other occasions. Dr. P. Venkatesulu and Dr. ACH Chandrasekhar participated. After that a drink was arranged for the NSS volunteers on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.
