05-06-2023 World Environmental Day 2023

World Environmental day 2023 was organized by NSS Unit in association with Department of Physics with the theme "Solutions to plastic pollution ".We made awareness through 1. workshops regarding sustainable practices and Mission LiFE and also promoting Life actions.2. Making College campus Plastic-free. 3. Creating less paper or Digital Campuses to avoid use of paper. 4. Avoid food wastage in Hostels and Cafeterias-promote serving of small portions. 5. Setting up composting centres for making compost out of dried leaves/waste food/organic waste to be utilized as manure. 6. Organizing bicycle rallies/plastic collection/water body cleaning activities.In this Program Dr.S Vijayulu Reddy(Principal), Dr.Dhananjaya reddy(NSS PO), Dr.Sivaramakrishna, M.Rajasekhar, S.Karthi, Jogiprasad and 58 students were participated.

09-06-2023 Campus Cleaning

Campus Cleaning was done today by NSS Volunteers. NSS Volunteers removed more number of  Bushes  surrounded by  by NEW College Building in the Campus. 32 Volunteers were participated. Lecturers Rajasekhar, Karthik, Swamy Sivaiah, Physical Director Jogi Prasad also participated.

26-06-2023 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking-2023

      "Be careful about using Illegally Drugs, which spoils Life"                 said Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy, Principal. NSS Unit in collaboration with  Special Enforcement Bureau organized International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking-2023 on 26th June 2023 with the theme  "People First: stop stigma and Discrimination, strengthen Prevention" An awareness rally & Pledge  was taken by the participants on International Anti-Narcotics Day. On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy said that the youth should take the lead in making India a drug-free country. Later, the students took a pledge to stay away from drugs and lead a healthy life. Enforcement Bureau  CI Nagaraju, SI Kunche Bhaskar, Civil CI Chandrasekhar, ASI Munikrishna, Principal of ITI College, All faculty S.Karthik, Bargavi, Sivaramakrishna, Jogi Prasad and 98 students were participated in this program.

10-08-2023 : National De-Worming Day(NDD)

 National De-Worming Day(NDD) was organized by NSS Unit in association with Primary health Center , Karvetinagaram on 10th Aug 2023. Albendazole tablets were distributed to 350 students. In this program Principal Dr.S.Vijayulu Reddy, NSS PO Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy, Faculty Dr.V.Balasubramanyam Achari & Dr.C.N.Latha, Asha Worker Manjula, 58 NSS Volunteers were participated.

9th to 11-08-2023 : MERI MAATI MERA DESH 

Azad Ka Amrit Mahotsav program was organized by  NSS Unit Program Officer Dhananjaya Reddy at  Government Degree College in Karvetinagaram. In this Program "MERI MAATI MERA DESH (My country -my  soil program) " was organized and saplings were planted in the college premises. Principal of the college Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy said that while remembering the soldiers who brought independence to the country, students should be ready for society and national service. After that, the students of NSS unit took soil and took Panch Prani Pledge. In this Program;  Faculty  Dr. V.Balasubramaniam Achari, Dr. CN Latha, Rajasekhar, Karthik, Dr. Babu, Senior Assistant GS Ravi,  JKC Lokesh, 68 students and others were participated.

14-08-2023:  National flag Hoist on top of the College building

National Flag was hoisted on top of the Government Degree College building BY NSS Unit Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy as part of Azadhika Amrit Mahotsavam on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, he said that every Indian has a responsibility to remember the many heroes and heroes of the freedom struggle. In this Occasion;  NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy said that it is the responsibility of the students to know about the freedom fighters .Also the students were explained about the National Anthem. College faculty Dr. Bala Subrahmanyam Achari, Dr. CN Latha, Karthik, GS Ravi, Lavanya, Murali, 78 students of NSS unit participated in this program.

Students should be ready for community service

Karvetinagaram, September 25: Students should be ready for community service and national service, Government Degree College Principal Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy said. On Monday, NSS Day was celebrated in Degree College under the leadership of NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, they said that students should adopt service attitude from childhood. They also asked to prevent plastic in the environment, grow plants and have social responsibility. Later on the occasion of NSS day, essay writing competitions were organized for the students and prizes were given to the students who showed talent. The principal and the faculty felicitated the students of the college who participated in the first Republic Day celebrations at Tirupati SV University. Teachers Balasubramaniam Achari, CN.Latha, Haribabu, Subbarao, Jogi Prasad, Karthik, Bhargavi, Lavanya, Swami Shivaiah, Gopi Krishna, Sivaramakrishna, JKC Mentor Lokeshwar and students participated in this program.

28-10-2023 :: Clean & Green Program

"Haritha Haram"  Clean & Green Program program was conducted by NSS unit in association with NCC and Department of Physical Education. We made staff & Students in groups and identified areas to be cleaned. We removed spider cobweb , rancidness in all rooms. Also removed garbage, musk, junk , plastic items in college surroundings.Watering to plants also done. In this Program NSS PO Dr.Dhananjaya Reddy & all staff members along 156 students were participated  

31-10-2023:: Rastriya Ekta Diwas

National Unity Day was celebrated in the Degree College by NSS Unit Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy.In this Ocassion Principal Dr.S.Vijayulu Reddy Said that " All humans are one-let'slead life without cast ,religion & region.  On this occasion, the students took a pledge to dedicate themselves to protect the unity, integrity and security of the country and organized a run for unity in Karvetinagaram town . In this program faculty Dr. CN. Latha, Dr. Haribabu, Dr. Babu, Gopikrishna, Rajasekhar, Jogi Prasad, Anbu, JKC Mentor Lokeshwar, Lavanya, Bhargavi 89 students were participated.

02-11-2023:: Cyber Crime Awareness Program

Cyber Crime Awareness Program was organized by NSS Unit in Coloboration with       department     of Police,      Karvetinagaram on       02-11-2023.SI Dastagiri, who was the chief guest of the program, said that be vigilant against cyber crimes and not to share OTPs and passwords for bank transactions with anyone.College Principal Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy said that  be careful with the apps used to send money and remind them not to put personal details in the apps at will.NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy said that students should be careful about using mobile and social media postings. In this program Faculty Dr. Haribabu, Viswanadha Reddy, Sivaramakrishna, Karthik, Lavanya, Bargavi, and 98 students were participated.

03-11-2023::vigilance awareness week 2023

Vigilance Awareness Program was organized by NSS Unit on 03-11-2023.The  awareness discussion was made on anti-corruption, accountability and integrity as part of anti-corruption. Principal of College Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy said that the students should work towards a corruption free society. He also said that giving and taking bribes for every work is becoming unheard of in today's society, and if this is to be changed, it is possible with the students. NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy said that everyone needs to work hard for a corruption-free society. Afterwards, NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy took a pledge of integrity with all  students and staff of the college saying let's eradicate corruption and work for the integrity of the society & all gets E-Certificates. In this Program all Faculty and 220 students participated 

04-11-2023:: Drugs Awareness Program with RASS

On Saturday(04-11-2023), for the students of Government Degree College an awareness program was organized by NSS Unit  in collaboration with RASS Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Addicts (IRCA),Papanaidupeta  on the harm caused by the use of intoxicating substances, drugs and prevention of intoxicating substances. Principal of Government College Dr.S.Vijayulu Reddy said that life becomes beautiful due to non-use of drugs. In this program RASS  IRCA councilors P. Nagaraju & Sabaridevi said that the intoxication caused by the use of drugs destroys a person's life, that the youth should stay away from drugs and drug addiction, and if anyone is addicted to drugs, they should contact RASS Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Addicts (IRCA). NSS Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy suggested the students to create awareness in their villages and friends and be a a part in prevention of intoxicating substance. In this program teachers Haribabu, Babu, Sivaramakrishna, Karthik, Bhargavi, Lavanya other teachers and students participated.

04-11-2023::Voters Enrollment Awareness Program

On Saturday(04-11-2023), College Principal Dr. S.Vijayulu Reddy and NSS Program Officer Dr.Dhananjaya Reddy organized an awareness program on voters enrollement & registration process. in this program Mandal Special Officer Trishul said that special voter registration camps should be taken advantage of. MEOs Vijay Kumar and Manoj Kumar  were the chief guests of this program and said that special drives are being conducted in connection with the voter registration process and voters can be registered with the help of BLOs in the camps. Inclusion of new voters in the special camps held on Saturday and Sunday, as well as those who have applied for voter registration in the past but have not yet registered, should inform the BLO. Faculty and students participated in this program.

Constitution Day was Celebrated by NSS Unit is Association with Department of Political Science on 26th Nov ,2023.The Principal Dr.S.Vijayulu Reddy was attended as Chief Guest and told that Indian Constitution was Baggiest among other Counties in the world. S.Karthik ,dept. of Political Science explained about Foundamental Rights and rules of the Constitution. Dr.Dhananjaya Redddy, NSS Program Officer was Conducted online Quiz on Indian Constitution and made read the Preamble of the Constitution along with Students & faculty gathering.

08-12-2023:: Huma Rights Day Awareness

NSS Unit  and  Department of Political Science jointly organized an awareness program on "Protection of Human Rights" as part of International Human Rights Day. The principal of the college, Dr. S Vijayulu Reddy, said that they should know their rights as well as their responsibilities and act accordingly. About the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Political Science Department Head S Karthik informed. NSS Unit Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy informed that every human being born on you has certain rights to live independently and in some cases the society also takes away these rights so it is everyone's responsibility to protect human rights. Afterwards, the students pledged to work hard for the protection of human rights by all. Faculty Dr. Balasubramaniam Achari, Dr. Haribabu, Lavanya, Bhargavi, Viswanadha Reddy, Jogi Prasad and students participated in the program.
