21-06-2025: International Yoga Day(Yogandra)
Principal of Government Degree College Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy informed that perfection is possible through the practice of yoga. On 21 june 2025 Saturday, the International Yoga Day was celebrated by NSS Unit in association with Dept of Physical Education. Speaking on this occasion, the prince informed that mental stress and anxiety can be reduced by practicing yoga. NSS Unit Program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy informed that since yoga is a precious gift of ancient Indian tradition, everyone can experience a healthy and happy life if they practice yoga regularly. After that, Jogi Prasad, the head of the college's exercise department, did important asanas, breathing process and jnana process with the students.
26-06-2025 : Walkathon on International Anti Drug Awareness Program
The International Day against drug abuse and illicit Trafficking Day organised by EAGLE CLUB in association with NSS Unit on 26 June 2025, on this occasion they conducted awareness Rally and took pledge. In this program Principal Dr. S. Vijayulu Reddy, EAGLE CLUB coordinators Dr. Dhanajaya Reddy, C.N. Latha, Vice Principal Balasubramanyam Achari, Faculties Subbarao, Hari Babu, Jogi prasad and Students were participated.

NSS program Officer Dr. Dhananjaya Reddy participated World Blood Donors Day held at SVIMS Blood Bank, Tirupati on 14 June 2025 and got Certificate of appreciation for his selfless act of Regular Repeat Voluntary Blood Donation and his Services in voluntary Blood Donor Motivation towards the Noble Cause. The Principal Dr. S.Vijayulu Reddy and College Staff appreciated Dr. Dhanajaya Reddy for his achievements.
