Vulcan pt3 (1st) - The School of Fiery Stones 

“Vulcan (1st) - The School of Fiery Stones. There is a curious connection between the human units who pass through its halls and the mineral kingdom. The human units on the earth scheme are called 'the living stones'; on the Vulcan they are called 'fiery stones.'” EA 694.

JC: From Genesis to Revelation, we see Christ is portrayed as the Saving Stone, the Slighted Stone, the Stumbling Stone, the Smiting Stone, and the soon-to-come Sovereign Stone. The metaphor of "living stones" is rooted in Christian scripture, where Christ is the "living Stone," and his followers are "living stones" built into a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:4–5). Christ was the “Living Stone”, and all that followed the spiritual path as followers of Jesus Christ were known as the living stones. They are the true masons or crafters in stone, as was Peter, the living rock or Petros.

Jesus was also the rejected stone and the one resurrected. Lazarus’s stone was rolled aside arose from the tomb of stone. The spiritual stones are perfected, becoming the diamond souled. "Transmutation is the passage across from one state of being to another through the agency of fire." We are told that fire is the initiating factor in the mineral kingdom, and radiation is the result. Carbon over immense periods becomes the diamond.

“The mineral kingdom is relatively nearing its possible manvantaric perfection, and by the time the seventh round is reached all mineral lives (not forms) will have been transferred to another planet. This will not be so with the other three kingdoms.” TCF 936.

Taurus, astrologically governing the mineral kingdom, is ruled esoterically by Vulcan. This alignment emphasises the role of Vulcan in shaping, forging, and perfecting both matter and the human soul. The diamond, a symbol of perfected mineral light, is associated with the mineral kingdom's secret and is linked to the third eye or "eye in the head of the Bull" (Taurus).

The process of spiritual transmutation is mirrored in the mineral kingdom, where base elements like carbon are transformed into diamonds under immense pressure and heat. Esoteric texts state that the mineral kingdom is approaching its "manvantaric perfection," and by the seventh round of planetary evolution, all mineral lives will be transferred to another planet, possibly Vulcan, fulfilling the "curious connection" between Vulcan and the mineral kingdom.

"Vulcan establishes relation between the fourth kingdom in nature and the first. Vulcan, as we shall see later, is governed by the first ray, and the first ray and the first kingdom are definitely bound together." EA 386.

References to "walking among fiery stones" (Ezekiel 28:14) esoterically denote initiates serving divine will in Shamballa, the seat of cosmic purpose. The "Fiery Stones "on Vulcan correspond to the first ray planetary method for the followers of the spiritual path and of the "fiery Ordeal" or trial. There will be a correspondence to the Christ on Vulcan, who would be a "Fiery Stone”. Vulcan's influence is to "forge the personality from material experience," using the anvil-like processes of time to shape the soul into a fitting vehicle for spiritual expression. This forging process is both destructive and constructive, breaking down old forms and building anew, paralleling the spiritual journey of initiates who must endure trials to become "fiery stones" “You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones”, Ezekiel. The fiery stones on the mount of god are the initiates that walk the halls in Shamballa. They are the fiery ones that serve the will of god.

The esoteric connection between Vulcan, the "School of Fiery Stones," and the mineral kingdom illustrates a profound spiritual parallel. Just as minerals are refined into diamonds, so too are souls forged into "fiery stones" through the trials of initiation and the agency of spiritual fire. Vulcan's role is to shape, refine, and ultimately transmute both matter and consciousness, linking the destinies of the mineral and human kingdoms in the grand evolutionary scheme. The Human Monad is also known as the philosopher's stone and is occultly understood as a ‘living stone’ in the Earth school and as a ‘fiery stone’ in the Vulcan school.

“1. The mineral kingdom - Pluto and Vulcan”. EA 650.

“The mineral kingdom is governed astrologically by Taurus, and there is a symbolic relation between the "eye" in the head of the Bull, the third eye, the light in the head, and the diamond”. EP1 230.

“1.  The mineral kingdom - The secret of the brilliance of the light.

The symbolic forms in which these five secrets are hidden, and so conveyed to the intelligence of the initiate, are as follows:

1.  The mineral secret - A diamond, blue white in color”. EP1 239.

“first Ray impulse, such as that which brought forth H. P. Blavatsky. First Ray impulses rise in the first quarter of each century and reach their climax on the physical plane during the last quarter”. LOS intro x.

JC: If we accept as a hypothesis the midpoint of this fifth round to be around 385,714,285 years, then the return of Vulcanic initiates, at the quarter-mark of this period, could be posited at 192,857,142 years into the fifth round.

Given our current placement around the midpoint of the Fourth Round (approximately 154,285,714 years into a 308-million-year active phase), we can estimate a further 347,142,856 years before the full readiness of Earth to house these powerful initiates and if including 308,571,428  (BCW v13 303 HPB) years of pralayic rest between the fourth and fifth rounds the entire period is 655,714,284.5 years until safe incarnation to Earth mid fifth round. These calculations, while symbolic, point toward the long-term preparation required to anchor first ray initiates into physical manifestation on a planet and are supported by the Tibetan Master DK by his advice in (TCF 718/9 AAB) on a "special piece of work” in a dual narrative.

“...whereas these particular Egos have yet somewhat to work out. They could only "come in" in the middle of the fifth round, and were a group of initiates who arrested their own evolution (technically speaking) in order to take up a special piece of work on the planet Vulcan; therefore, they must return to continue and complete that which has been left undone. Owing to the results of their experience on Vulcan, the physical vehicle necessitated is of such an order that they could not at this time, and in this round, incarnate without disaster.” TCF 719.  

As all activity picks up where it left off, the climax or high water mark of the special work of these Vulcanic Initiates rises in the first quarter, 86,785,714.125 years into the period, and peaks at the last quarter, 260,357,142.375 years into the active period of this hypothetical example. The fifth round's midpoint will be the fourth race of the fourth globe, making a numerical gateway back into planet Earth at the fifth round under the law of correspondences also taking full advantage of “the next round, during the fourth root race, and for a very brief period also, a fresh cycle will reach its zenith”.
