*Please note wait times can be quite long as there is a severe shortage of physicians in our area.*
*Based on a recent study Nov 2024 -In Chatham-Kent there are 32,421 people who don't have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, according to the task force. Chatham-Kent needs 45 family physicians based on current trends that include each doctor taking care of 1,500 patients and potential retirements.*

Anyone attending should bring a valid health card and your medications.
Ailments and concerns that BridgeCare doctors will treat include:
Ear, throat, or stomach pain, urinary tract infections, rashes
Minor joint injuries, sprains and strains
Chronic condition management and medication refills (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma)
Cancer screenings (i.e. Pap tests for cervical cancer, colorectal cancer screening, mammograms)
Preventive and general health assessments including blood work and imaging as appropriate

The First Five Nurse Practitioner and Nurse can provide the following services:
Well baby/well child visits ,Immunizations,Developmental screening
Nutrition support,Assistance with navigating the health care system
Referral requests,Care for acute illnesses (i.e. infections, coughs, colds, vomiting, rashes, etc)
