From the Trout Run Trailhead. Head down the trail to the left of the Bathrooms, it will snake down a bit until it comes across a larger trail (AT)
Turn right on the AT until the next intersection. You can either keep straight on the moonshine trail then turn right at the T, or turn right on the portage trail and turn right at the T. Both trails will take you to the same place.
Follow this until you get to the Waterville Iron bridge. Proceed across it and turn left (Bear Hole Trail), about 500 yards on your left will be the ruins of the Canal Lock
After you pass the Sand Siding trail (on your left) the Bordner Cabin will be about a mile farther along the Bear Hole Trail, Cabin will be on your right
Backtrack back to the Sand Siding trail and cross the bridge.
Turn Left at the T (Swatara Rail Trail) Follow this all the way back to the Moonshine trail (trail will eventually turn into an old abandoned paved road)
Turn left on the moonshine trail, go straight through the intersection (you will be back on the AT)
Make the first left and head back to where you parked
