Details regarding Paul’s courses, along with other CBP courses, are shown on the Missenden School of Creative Arts website. Principle led teaching gives us the opportunity to explore subjects in detail while learning a host of brush techniques which can be applied to other subjects.
Paul is currently in talks regarding a course for the Spring at the CIM Academy (Google Map), Cookham, Berkshire. Dates will be announced once known.
Weekend workshops allow us to focus on how a particular subject is created in the Chinese style. As well as looking at Chinese historical references, we also explore how to create your own composition through the inclusion of accompanying painting elements. A Saturday night presentation usually adds to the foundation created by showing paintings of the subject through time.
