Get Ready for IELTS Listening is an IELTS Listening test preparation material designed for those who are at a basic level and want to improve this skill further. The book is divided into three main parts:
The first part consists of 12 large themed lessons (with smaller topics integrated in the lesson). Each lesson focuses on showing how to do each type of IELTS Listening question and the corresponding practice section. After 3 lessons (3 units), there will be 1 review to help learners review what they have received in the past 3 lessons.
The second part is a full 4 sections IELTS Listening practice test.
The third part is audioscripts and answers to ielts listening exercises.
Note:
The exercises in Get Ready for IELTS Listening are also basic, with little friction, perfectly suitable for learners in band 3 - 4 and want to improve their score.
For those of you who already have a solid foundation and want to take the test, you need to practice with materials that are close to the real test level like the Cambridge IELTS series of books.

Many teachers allow their students to listen to a recording 3 or 4 times. However, I strongly recommend that you practice the test under test conditions and that means listening only once.

In general, IELTS Actual Tests Listening has the same presentation format throughout the series. For volume 1,IELTS Listening practice book This gives you 6 original exam questions from 2005 to 2012.
Each exam consists of 4 parts(4 sections) with a total of 40 questions, corresponding to the content of the listening lessons in the audio accompanying the book. Answer(answer key) and dialogue (Tapescript) Listening is provided at the end of the document.
Note:
IELTS Actual Tests Listening In particular, and the IELTS Actual Tests series in general, there are official test sets in both content and structure. This allows learners to trust the results of the mock test when practicing on the questions in the book. This book appearedtypes of listening ielts regularly tested.
To do the test effectively, remember to listen to each lesson at least twice. On the first listening, you try to answer every question and make a note of the correct number of questions that day, so that you can compare it with the day before and the next day, and track your progress.

Lessons for IELTS Listening is a member book of the Lessons for IELTS series. It includes the most up-to-date Listening test formats, commonly found in the IELTS Listening test in recent years. The book is divided into two main parts:

Surely Cambridge IELTS (full name: Cambridge Practice Test for IELTS) is already a familiar name in the IELTS "book village". It seems to have become a classic with IELTS learners for generations.
To achieve band 8.0, in addition to studying and practicing in manuals on techniques and strategies, you also need to practice regularly to increase your rubbing experience.
One of the best practice series is Cambridge IELTS from book 11-17 because these areIELTS study material most recently published - it is highly up to date.
In each of these books, it includes 4 IELTS Academic practice tests with all 4 skills (full IELTS Academic tests): Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking. At the end of the book, there are answers to tests, audioscripts and sample writing for you to compare and refer to.
Note:
Cambridge IELTS in general and Cambridge IELTS 11 - 16 in particular mainly provide practice tests, not focusing on grammar/vocabulary explanations as well as instructions on solving problem types.
The book is not suitable for those who are new to the IELTS format.

The book is divided into 9 lessons, intensively reviewing 2 Speaking and Listening skills, of which 7 are for Speaking and the last 2 are for Listening (Unit 8 & 9).
Although the duration is quite short compared to the other skills, this IELTS listening practice material also focuses on fully designing the basic content you need to know about IELTS Listening with accompanying exercises for you to practice.
Unit 8 focuses on Section 1 & 2 while Unit 9 is section 3 & 4 in the IELTS Listening test.
Note:
IELTS Advantage - Speaking & Listening skills has a relatively limited amount of Listening exercises. It also does not provide IELTS Listening practice test with all 4 sections (4 sections).
The book is not the ideal choice for those of you who need to practice questions to prepare quickly for the IELTS exam.
