INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIP

The course aims to give the students the opportunity to put into practice the theories and principles they have acquired in the University and to provide avenue for them to be exposed to the work environment for which they are being prepared and to finally assess their readiness to assume the responsibilities after their graduation in the school. The major goal of the 150-hour industry-based internship is to provide an integrated and coordinated series of learning experiences that will serve students with opportunities to practice and expand on previously held knowledge and learned skills; develop new skills and knowledge; and experience personal and professional growth and development. Students are expected to make a comprehensive report of all activities undertaken and learning experiences acquired from the practicum.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

CLO 1 Identify theories in psychology that they have applied in their on the job training
CLO 2 Gain an in depth knowledge of the role of psychologists in the industry particularly in Human Resource Management and Development Units
CLO 3 Further develop skills and competencies related to the administration, management and training of employees
CLO 4 Exemplify the knowledge and skills learned in the program and the values imbibed by the core values of the University in the workplace
CLO 5 Make a comprehensive report of all activities undertaken and learning experiences acquired from the practicum
