Position on council & committee executives

Both School Council and the Fundraising Committee need certain number of elected officials to operate. These elected officials need to be parents of students at DMG. If we do not have the necessary elected officials we will NOT be able to carry out our fundraising to support the school.

As a minimum each executive must consist of: Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer (Fundraising only). Executive positions for both Council and Fundraising can be held by the same or different persons.

School Council meets monthly and where possible the elected executive should attend either in person, or via video call. There is also planning and conversation outside of these meetings (primarily through email) that all have the option to participate in.

These positions are an excellent opportunity for you to get involved in your kids school, with all volunteer time being outside of school hours
