MONTHLY MEETINGS: 4TH WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH, 6PM, DMG LEARNING COMMONS

GET INVOLVED!!

We need parents for ALL School Council and Fundraising board positions

  • Small number of hours per month - all outside of regular school day

  • Attend monthly meetings

  • Make decisions on direction for School Council

  • Help with fundraisers and social events (where needed)

School Council and Fundraising Committee CANNOT function without parents to form the Executives, keep things moving, and attend meetings

  • School Council AGM

    • Review of 2021/22 year

    • Dissolution of current Executive

    • Election of new Executive - all positions available

  • Updates from Trustee, School and Teachers

School Council CANNOT function without parents to form the Executive, keep things moving, and attend meetings

School Council is a great way to get involved at YOUR KIDS SCHOOL and get to know the people that run the school

School Council helps to build community through arranging school social events

School Council supports the school through provision of financial support for items identified by School Admin as beneficial for all students

NOVEMBER DMG FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE AGM & MEETING

Wednesday November 23rd, immediately after School Council, DMG Learning Commons

  • Fundraising Committee AGM

    • Review of 2021/22 year

    • Approval of audited financial statements for 2020/21 and 2021/22

      • financial statements will be provided to attendees at the meeting

    • Dissolution of current Executive

    • Election of new Executive - all positions available

  • Open discussion on fundraisers

Fundraising Committee CANNOT function without parents to form the Executive, manage the finances and fundraising, and attend meetings

YOUR KIDS SCHOOL needs financial support to provide enhancements FOR ALL STUDENTS not covered through government funding.

This is achieved through Fundraising

No fundraising committee = No fundraising

The school cannot accept fundraising money directly.

Fundraising Committee must meet the Alberta Societies Act requirements and have atleast President; Vice-President; Treasurer
