Team size: 10 | March - December 2021 | Developed on Unreal Engine 4
Role: Programmer
I helped in the development of a virtual reality simulator of a power station in Unreal Engine 4. This simulation is being used by a Peruvian electrical provider for training and evaluation of electrical engineers and operators under some emergency circumstances.
Tasks:
I created and updated Blueprints and scripts to control the behavior of some of the following electrical components of the simulation:
Transformers
Rectifiers
UI elements such as control panels, screens, the phone used to interact with the instructions of the simulation, etc.
I collaborated with the art team in the update of mesh and materials of the components and UI elements.
I created some minor UI elements for the screens and control panels and implemented them into the VR simulation.
