A client-server document workflow, with no server to maintain.
Most "paperless office" systems make you trade one headache (paper) for another (subscriptions, IT overhead, proprietary databases you can't get your data out of). DKForm Paperless System takes a different approach: it uses two lightweight apps and the iCloud account you already have, so there's no server to buy, host, or maintain — and your data is stored as ordinary PDFs that you fully own, not locked inside anyone's platform.
Two apps, one system:
DKForm Fill — the front counter. Customers use it to fill out and sign your forms.
DKForm Finder — the back office. You use it to search, manage, and distribute forms across your whole business.
They never talk to each other directly. Instead, they both talk to the same place: your iCloud Drive.
1. Branded intake.
A customer walks up to your iPad — branded with your logo or storefront image — and taps to start a form. It doesn't feel like a generic app; it feels like your business.
2. Fill & sign.
The customer fills in text fields, dates, checkboxes, and a signature, watching the actual PDF preview update as they go. When it's saved, that's a real fillable PDF — not a screenshot, not a proprietary blob.
3. Save & upload.
The completed form is saved locally, and then uploaded to your iCloud Drive with one tap. From this moment, it's part of your system-wide records — accessible from any device signed into your account, not stuck on the one iPad it was filled out on.
4. Search & manage.
Now switch to DKForm Finder, on a tablet at your desk or your phone in your pocket. Search for that customer by name, phone, or ID. See how many forms came in this month. Pull up a completed form and hand a copy to your accountant or insurer.
5. Roll out changes, instantly, everywhere.
Need to update a form, add a new one, or relabel a field to match how your business talks about it? Make the change once in DKForm Finder. Every DKForm Fill device on your account picks it up automatically the next time it syncs — no visiting each iPad individually, no reinstalling anything.
This is the quiet superpower of the whole system: there is no backend to run.
No server costs, no server downtime, no server to secure.
No proprietary database — everything is standard PDF files with real form fields (AcroFields), sitting in iCloud Drive under your Apple account.
Anyone with an iCloud account can set the whole system up by downloading both apps from the App Store — no IT department required.
If you ever wanted to stop using DKForm entirely, your completed forms are just... PDFs. Open them in Preview, Adobe Acrobat, or any PDF reader. Nothing to export, nothing to migrate, nothing held hostage.

Every install comes with a basic generic form to get you started immediately. But the real value shows up when your forms match your actual workflow — a clinic's intake questionnaire, a salon's consent form, an event's liability waiver, a rental agreement.
That's where custom form design comes in: rather than trying to build a one-size-fits-all form builder, we work directly with businesses to design and build the exact form your workflow needs, then deliver it straight into your DKForm Finder for distribution to your team. It's a system you own, tailored by people who built it.
