As part of the project, my primary responsibility was the creation and development of the character Bobo. I created the 3D model, textured it, and worked on its expressions to ensure Bobo's visual representation aligned with the envisioned character.
The expressions were made as a tiled texture in UDIMS, allowing for seamless transitions between different emotions. One significant advantage of this approach is the flexibility it offers in adding new expressions effortlessly, enabling the character to evolve dynamically throughout the series.
While Toto was not created by me, I contributed by creating expressions for Toto using shape keys in Blender. This resulted in a total of 10 eye expressions and 12 different mouth expressions that can be used in various combinations.
In addition to my primary responsibilities, I play a pivotal role in infusing each episode with fresh ideas and experimentation. This involves continuously seeking innovative ways to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. Whether it's introducing new techniques in animation, exploring unconventional prop simulations, or devising inventive set designs, I strive to inject a sense of novelty and excitement into every aspect of the production. This commitment to creativity not only keeps the series engaging for viewers but also fosters a dynamic and collaborative environment within the team.
