POSTGRADUATE FUNDING

The Diversity100 PhD Studentship at Birkbeck covers all PhD tuition fees and are available to students from Black, Asian and other racialised communities.

Birkbeck also offers a range of other scholarships and bursaries for those from underrepresented groups (https://www.bbk.ac.uk/about-us/equality/race-equality).

The Harold Moody Scholarships, named after King’s alumnus and civil activist – Dr Harold Moody, provide full funding including tuition fees, a living allowance and research costs to support Black UK residents to be able to carry out a PhD at King’s.

Launched in 2021, the Harold Moody Postgraduate Research Studentships scheme provides four years of full funding to PhD candidates in the Arts & Humanities and the Social Sciences.
