The regional meeting organized by our school hosted 25 European Projects Coordinators from Gura Humorului and neighbouring towns and the Inspector for European Projects, Lidia Acostoaie. It was focused on presenting the Erasmus+ Project "Diversity Makes Union" and also to give an example of good practices by involving students in a workshop meant to demonstrate how to use some of the 2.0 web tools we are promoting within our project.
The meeting was hosted by the project coordinator Mihaela Negrea and by Headmistress Garofita Straton, with the participation of the other 4 members of the project team and 16 students that had the task of presenting interesting facts about the 6 partner countries in an innovative way using the digital programmes. The programmes that we used in this demonstrative activity were: www.bookcreator.com, www.flexclip.com, www.editphotosforfree.com, www.toonytool.com, www.prezi.com, www.thinglink.com. The students stated that it was an interesting and educational experience and that they would surely use the web tools for other projects in the future.
