Greek pupils thought of a name for the mascot and created passport for it, dressed him up in national costumes. The Greek mascot is Kitsos. A pupil or a teacher from our school was in charge of taking photos of the mascot and sights which were visited and wrote a diary of mascot's travel. We shared videos with photos with mascot during special days. The mascot proved a very convenient tool in engaging our young students to the culture, traditions and language of partner countries.
Greek students in cooperation with their teachers have looked for and gathered everyday objects of life in Greece 400-500 years ago, wrote a few words about them and, together with games and toys of modern Greece, present them to our European friends, with the help of Kitsos, the Greek mascot! Enjoy!!!!
