Fractured Mind, 2026
Fractured Mind is a digital portrait that explores emotional pressure, identity, and psychological stress. Instead of showing stress in a dramatic way, the work focuses on quieter internal experiences where thoughts and emotions feel layered and unstable. This project develops my practice by expanding my character-based work through distortion, layering, and fragmentation.
The work is told by ideas about stress, emotional masking, and how digital environments affect attention and identity. It also considers how constant screen exposure can influence how we see ourselves. Influenced by artists such as Shintaro Kago, Henrik Uldalen, and Irene Pérez, the project builds on psychological portraiture while adapting it into a digital context. The piece uses digital layering, overlapping lines, and distortion to reflect a mind that feels unstable and overwhelmed.
Ultimately, Fractured Mind encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences with stress and how modern life shapes emotional experience.
About the Artist
My work explores stress, identity, and internal emotional experiences through digital character-based art. I am interested in how people carry emotions and pressure that are often hidden from others. My goal is to make these internal feelings visible.
I work mainly in digital illustration, starting with sketches and developing them through layering, distortion, and composition. I often exaggerate or fragment parts of the figure to show emotional tension. My work balances realism with stylized elements to create images that feel both familiar and unstable.
My goal is to create work that helps viewers reflect on their own emotions and connect with the complexity of internal experiences.
