Their Stories, 2026

This sculpture, titled Their Stories, uses research and symbolism to explore topics addressed in The Epstein Files. This work was created by reading the stories of victims, and creating symbolic imagery to share what they had went through while under the abuse of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. I was particularly interested in the story of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, because she was able to share such a detailed experience of her abuse in her memoir Nobody's Girl as a way to bring awareness to the horrors that minors had gone through.

These stories had impacted my view of the people currently in power, as they were in connection with Epstein himself. Through this work, I hope viewers will feel the pain of survivors and begin to question how we may hold these people accountable for their actions. This piece invites the audience to share awareness of this topic, and consider how we may bring justice and change in our country. 

About the Artist

Amber Miller creates sculptures and photos that embodies intimacy and proximity to counteract cultures of abuse. Relating mother nature with the human body as a shared essence of the soul, she demonstrates the art of connection brought from mother nature herself. By relating to nature in this way, the practice seeks to illustrate ways of being that exist outside of structures determined by oppressors.
