This book focuses on Sue Hendrickson, a female palentologist who discovered the largest most in tact T-Rex fossil known to mankind in 1990 in South Dakota. A diverse/global perspective would focus on Sue being a female palentologist. She is a great model for young children, especially young girls to show them that palentology is a career for both men and women. Science fields were predominatley filled by men, but over the past years we are seeing an increase in female scientists and females in related fields. This book is a great inspiration to young children, especially girls that you can do anything and be anything you set your mind to. To also encourage curiousity and dreams.Â
