Flexible Pacing
Students who work slower, will be able to work at their own pace and move from dinosaur to dinosaur with teacher guidance to prevent students from falling behind or moving too quickly to keep classroom management.
Choice
Students who have shorter attention spans or need chunking can pick pick to do just 3 templates of the dinosaurs. They do not need to make their own drawing.
Teacher Assistance
For students who need assistance with drawing their “props” the teacher will help them with brainstorming an idea and then starting the drawing. For the writing of their sentence, the teacher can physically write what the student says verbatim or have the student just list the words that represent the objects of the drawing.
