DAL's Programs

for Windows* & written in AutoIt

These are free and they and this site are strictly "as is" without any warranty.

(See: Disclaimer)

My programs are free but, if you want to "buy me a beer" or "buy me a coffee", go ahead. Any donations will encourage me to update and refine these and, perhaps, add a few more.

(Actually, it would be nice if people would just admit to using my programs and finding them useful by emailing me at D.A.Ling@outlook.com: no one has done that yet.)

I create somewhat naive programs for my own interest and use and, at one time, I tried to help people at a forum too.

Batch Delete v1.03

Someone at a forum wanted a program to delete folders and files as specified by a list in a text file: this was what I came up with.

BrightVolHKs v3.01 & DateWriteHKs v3.01

These are a couple of near-identical programs that, in addition to the functionality asked for at a forum, are very basic hotkey-managers.

Clipboard Record v1.01.1

Someone at a forum wanted a clipboard program that would keep a record of the clipboard by saving each new content to a text file: this was what I came up with.

ClipClear v1.00

A person at a forum declared of his program that "ClearClipboard is a simple tool that will periodically clear your clipboard ... useful, for example, to hide sensitive information, such as passwords.": ClipClear is my version of this idea.

Create Restore-Point v1.00

This is just a minimalist tool to quickly and easily create a system restore point.

Ding-Press v2.13

I extended an idea at a forum regarding a batch script for 7zip-archiving and this is it.

Resize Desktop Icons v1.02

This is a very simple program to quickly change the size of the desktop icons to any value from 16 to 64 pixels.

Taskbar-Toggler v1.00

This is just a simple taskbar-toggler* to alternately hide and show the taskbar and to free up that space for the use of windowed programs.

Top-Window v1.02

This program is intended to make a window topmost so that other windows won't cover it unless they have been made topmost too. I wrote this for my own use but others may find it useful. Believe it or not, a program with such a functionality can cost.

* Note: I write and test my programs on a Windows-8 laptop and I merely assume that they work okay on most other versions of Windows.
