We use e-mail, phones, blogs and social network tools to connect with others and to share our ideas. We also have so many presentation tools that engage your creativity so there is overlap with the Creation lesson. Know that presentation tools are meaningless if presentations are not well-designed and interesting. We will start our lesson today by analyzing what works and doesn't work in the design of presentations. We will then look at video and slideshow tools. We won't be covering social networking communication tools.

Think about really good slide presentations that you saw in person or online. What made them good? Think about the colors, backgrounds, images, etc. in how they were designed. Go to the Padlet board and make a list of what you believe makes slideshows interesting.
