⏰ Keep it brief — visits are limited to about 15 minutes or less, depending on what’s needed.
✍️ Check out with the librarian — make sure your pass is signed before heading back to class.

1. Stop by the circulation desk — this is where all check-outs happen.

2. Share your first and last name so we can find you in the system and confirm your account.

3. Hand your book(s) to the Teacher Librarian to get them scanned.

4. Wait for the quick scan — we’ll make sure everything is checked out under your name. The teacher librarian will send you a Due Date Reminder to you Email 

5. Get your book(s) and due date — then you’re all set to enjoy your reading adventure! 📖✨

They don’t need the physical card, just the library card number and PIN. All non LAUSD K-12 schools in the City of Los Angeles are encouraged to get cards for their students.
