The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) — or simply the Dewey Decimal System — is the way most libraries organize their nonfiction books. It’s like a giant map that helps you find any book based on its subject. Instead of sorting books by title or author, the Dewey System sorts them by topic and gives each one a three-digit number (and sometimes decimals) to show what it’s about. La clasificación decimal de Dewey (DDC), o simplemente el sistema decimal de Dewey, es la forma en que la mayoría de las bibliotecas organizan sus libros de no ficción. Es como un mapa gigante que te ayuda a encontrar cualquier libro según su tema.
