Record an audio only version of your lecture. Send the audio files to students with separate slides/lecture notes.
Convert your colour recording to a low Black and White/VGA resolution videos.
Link to pre-existing videos such as those on NPTEL/SWAYAM etc.
Make elaborate lecture notes and distribute them.
Make provisions for asynchronous chat/discussion forums where students
can exchange ideas and clarify doubts, at their convenience.
Use collaborative documents such as Google Slides for
synchronous/asynchronous assignments
Optimize all documents, pdfs etc. Most of the documents can be compressed.
Reduce video size using a software such as Handbrake.
