Liberty Plaza
Also known as Freedom Square or Training Grounds, this is an unstructured/non-normalized FFA PVP zone in Asperon where players can train/spar against each other or test their damage (the area contains several training dummies) in Devilian form. Entering the circular area automatically transforms the player from human to devil form. The area is handy for changing around your Devilian skill bar.
Devilian form was also the game designers intended PVP design (except in Infinite Hunting Grounds capture zones in the second channel which served as an open world normal form PVP area).
Changes made to Trion's Devilian form negates some of the timed methods used to increasing the chances of getting the last hit on many field bosses or for utilizing it often as a temporary buff. Awakening and cancelling Devilian form is hindered in Trion's version because in addition to the animation delay (which fortunately does deal damage and acts as a knockdown) when transforming into a Devilian, a gauge penalty was added when quickly awakening and cancelling between normal and Devil form.
This penalty was added because Trion's producer at the time felt that using Devilian form as a buff for tanking hits or quick bursts of movement speed detracted from the game play (which is exactly what the designers intended since it is integral to their other designs). This is just one of many Trion specific modifications that has marginalized the Devil form from its actual potential.
