Ancient Devil God Scramble

This is an up to 200 player (per channel) Devilian form PVP weekly event that was added to the Thai version. The emphasis of this hour long siege was objective base where players were divided into teams/factions based on guilds and guild alliances. The event would begin once 100 players were in a channel.

The starting objective was to go on the offensive against the field bosses (Greed of Twilight or Keitaz of Disaster) that spawned in 4 locations throughout the Stormfront Invasion zone; the guilds and guild alliances that engaged in and contributed the most against 6 of those bosses would be placed on defense (defender forces) while the other guilds and alliances would go on offense (siege forces).

While on defense during this phase of the mission, the central altar area would periodically spawn several waves of ancient devil subordinates that players would need to take out while also defending the 3 barriers. Engaging and killing field bosses that now only periodically spawned in 3 locations was still an objective for defenders and siegers in order to acquire their buffs during this phase. This made the zones outside the central altar area a large scale PVP battleground as siegers and defenders attempted to acquire the buff from those field bosses.

The main boss Cycloid spawns in the center altar area after several ancient devil subordinate waves and field boss encounters. The team that is on defense has an obvious advantage at this point of defeating Cycloid and winning (based on total damage contribution against Cycloid by each faction) if they were managing and controlling the entire playing area including holding off the sieging team from breaking through any of the barriers.

Alternatively, if Cycloid has not been summoned before the 50 minute mark, a guard tower would spawn in that center area of the altar. The faction that destroys the tower or protects it for 10 minutes, wins the siege.

This content (what would have been called Ancient Devil Boss Scramble) was not deployed to the Korean version due to the impending Hangame shutdown.

A heavily modified version of this siege (utilizing just the guard tower component) was created for Trion and initially named Terror from the Depths (later renamed to Stormfront Wars). Details about Stormfront Wars and its key differences will be outlined in a separate page.
