Dear Desire Path Families,
Welcome to our April issue of the Desire Path Dispatch! Each month, we’ll journey together through the wilds of holistic learning, faith-centered inspiration, and joyful discovery alongside Clover the Clever Fox. Our thoughtful, forest-wise mascot who reminds us to wander with purpose and delight.
As the earth warms and blooms awaken beneath our feet, April invites us to trust the process of growth. Tiny seeds sprout, hearts open, and new beginnings unfold. Let’s walk this season with wonder in our pockets and gratitude in our steps.
“The Fern Who Wouldn’t Rush”
In a quiet glade, a young fern watched impatiently as wildflowers bloomed and birds built nests. “Why can’t I grow faster?” it sighed. But Clover reminded the fern, “The strongest roots are those we cannot see.” By season’s end, the fern stood tall. It was not the first to bloom, but the one who had a deep rooted foundation so It could stay for many years to come.
Moral: Trust your pace. Growth is quiet, sacred work.

Create a “Wonder Basket” filled with spring treasures your child collects: feathers, petals, twigs, shells. Use these in storytelling, art, or simply as a reminder that beauty often hides in small places.
Ask your child:
“What is something growing inside of you right now?”
Their answer may surprise and delight you.
We’re so glad to walk this path with you.
May your April be full of soft sunlight, deep breaths, and moments of wonder. Until next time, wander well.
With warmth and gratitude,
The Desire Path Academy Team
