The SEA Teacher (Southeast Asian Teacher Project) is an international teaching practicum program organized by SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization). This program allows education students from Southeast Asian countries to gain teaching experience abroad by being placed in schools in another ASEAN country for about one month.
Objectives of the SEA Teacher Program
International Teaching Exposure – Participants experience different teaching environments and education systems.
Teaching Skill Development – Students improve their pedagogical skills and classroom management in a real school setting.
Cross-Cultural Exchange – The program fosters cultural understanding and friendships among ASEAN nations.
