The observation days at Mambusao East National High School provided a very valuable experience. I had the opportunity to observe various classes, from grades 7 to 12, and each class had its own unique characteristics. However, one thing that stood out was the students' activeness in English language learning. They showed high enthusiasm in every session, actively participating in discussions, and not hesitating to try speaking in English.
This student engagement is certainly due to the role of teachers who are very creative and innovative in delivering material. Each teacher has a unique teaching method, tailored to the needs and characteristics of the students in their class. They use various techniques, from interactive games, group discussions, to the use of technology, to make English language learning more interesting and effective.
My first observation in grade 8 was a pleasant surprise. I was impressed by the English language skills of the students in that class. They not only understood the material well but were also able to communicate fluently in English. This showed that they had a strong foundation in English and were motivated to continue developing it.
During the six days of observation, I also had the opportunity to give two learning demonstrations. These demonstrations became a platform to share experiences and knowledge about effective English teaching methods. I tried to create an interactive and fun learning atmosphere, involving students in various activities that encouraged them to actively speak and think in English.
Overall, these observation days provided deep insights into the English language learning process at Mambusao East National High School. I saw a high spirit of learning from the students, extraordinary dedication from the teachers, and a conducive learning environment. This experience will be a very valuable asset for me in developing myself as an educator.
