Opening at Main Campus

The opening ceremony at the main campus was filled with joy, attended by the Mayor of Roxas and the Minister of Education of Roxas. The event began with warm speeches, followed by special performances from each participating university. This moment also marked the first meeting with friends from various universities in Indonesia, including Undana, UMBy, Unesa, UMKO, and myself from UAD. Each university showcased different performances. We, from UAD, performed the Poco-poco dance.

The Poco-poco dance is a traditional Indonesian dance that is energetic and full of enthusiasm. It is known for its simple yet fun movements, often accompanied by cheerful music, and is very popular in Indonesia. The dance successfully enlivened the atmosphere and invited everyone present to join in the dance.

This opening ceremony was not only a platform for showcasing talents but also an opportunity to build friendships and expand networks among students from various regions. The presence of important figures such as the Mayor and the Minister of Education added to the excitement of the event, demonstrating support for academic and cultural activities on campus.
