UNIQUE OPENING CEREMONY
The welcoming ceremony was also accompanied by dances that are characteristic of the Mambusao community in the Philippines, showcasing diversity in the form of dance art.
Here's an expansion of this section into three paragraphs:
The welcoming ceremony in Mambusao, Philippines, is not just a formality but also a celebration of rich art and culture. Traditional dances are the heart of this welcome, where every movement and rhythm reflects the history and values of the local community. The dancers, in beautifully colorful costumes, move gracefully and nimbly, creating a festive and warm atmosphere.
Each dance performed has its own story and meaning, often depicting daily life, beliefs, or significant events in Mambusao's history. These intricate and harmonious movements are not just entertainment but also a way to preserve and pass on traditions from generation to generation. The accompanying music, with its distinctive rhythms and touching melodies, further enhances the expressive power of each dance.
Through the art of dance, the Mambusao community not only welcomes guests but also opens a window for the outside world to get to know their cultural wealth more closely. Every movement, every costume, and every rhythm is part of the identity they are proud of. This welcome becomes an unforgettable experience, where art and hospitality blend into one, creating a deep impression for anyone present.
EXTRAORDINARY MOMENT
Singing the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, in the Philippines was an extraordinary and proud experience. As I sang each lyric, a sense of patriotism and national pride filled my heart. Seeing the positive reactions from the Filipino audience, who showed appreciation and respect, made the moment even more special.
Amid cultural and linguistic differences, music became a bridge connecting hearts. Indonesia Raya, with its meaningful melody and lyrics, managed to touch the souls of the Filipino listeners, creating a sense of unity and togetherness. This is proof that music is a universal language that can transcend national and cultural boundaries.
This moment was not just about singing a song, but also about sharing Indonesian identity and values with the world. Every note sung was a representation of the spirit of cooperation, diversity, and the beauty of Indonesia. The feeling of pride and emotion felt at that moment will always be an unforgettable memory, a moment where Indonesia Raya resounded magnificently on Filipino soil.
DANCE INTRODUCTION MOMENT
In introducing Indonesian culture, we chose the Poco-poco dance as the main presentation because of its simple and easy to follow movements, cheerful musical rhythm, and the nuance of togetherness it contains. We wanted to present a dance that not only entertains but also invites the Filipino community to participate in experiencing the joy and spirit of Indonesia.
As we started dancing, the cheerful rhythm of the Poco-poco music immediately attracted attention. The simple yet energetic movements made the atmosphere lively and spirited. The Filipino community seemed enthusiastic to follow our every move, trying to imitate the steps we took. Laughter and smiles adorned their faces, creating a warm atmosphere of intimacy.
We not only danced but also explained the meaning behind each movement and the history of the Poco-poco dance. We told them how this dance is a blend of sports and art, reflecting the spirit of togetherness and joy of the Indonesian people. The Filipino community seemed interested and amazed by the richness of Indonesian culture.
After we finished dancing, many of them approached us, expressing admiration and gratitude. They said that the Poco-poco dance was very fun and easy to follow. Some even asked us to teach them the basic movements. That moment became real proof that art and culture can be a strong bridge to connect people from various backgrounds.
