Schools under the Schools Division of Surigao del Norte actively participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2025, conducted on December 10, 2025, demonstrating a strong commitment to disaster preparedness and the safety of learners, teachers, and school personnel.

The simultaneous conduct of the drill across schools highlighted the collective efforts of school communities in practicing proper earthquake response procedures and strengthening coordination during emergency situations. This activity reinforced awareness on preparedness measures and underscored the importance of readiness in minimizing risks during seismic events.
