The shift report is a tool to keep the staff better informed about happenings during the work day. There should be no less than 2 shift reports done per day.
Step 1.
Open the “Shift report” channel in the “Cinespace Equipment Checkout” team on Microsoft Teams. Click on the Shift report tab within the channel.
The shift report may contain a message.
Step 2.
Click on the “+ New” option to create a new shift report.
Step 3.
Enter the timings of the shift in the “Shift” column.
For example: 8 am-1 pm.
Step 4.
Select the date in the “Date” column.
Step 5.
Enter the name of the person who is writing the shift report in the “Author” section.
Step 6.
Enter the names of the employees working in the shift along with their shift timings in the “Employees on Duty” column.
Step 7.
Click on the drop-down menu under the “Was everyone on time” column and select the relevant option.
Step 8.
Any issues related to the equipment that occurred during the shift must be mentioned under the “Equipment Issues” section.
Step 9.
Like the previous step, all incidents that occurred during the shift must be explained under the “incidents” column.
Step 10.
All incidents or issues regarding WebCheckout should be mentioned in the “WebCheckout/Patron portal incidents” section.
Step 11.
Any other incidents that are not related to the above steps should be mentioned under the “Other” section.
If there is no information available to mention for steps 7 to 11, the author can write “NA” under those respective sections.
Step 12.
For the final step, the author must upload any supporting documents under the “Attachments” section and click on the “Save” option to successfully complete and save the shift report.
