To bring together Democrats and like-minded residents to strengthen our community, promote democratic values and leaders who represent fairness, opportunity, and justice for all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We created this club to provide a safe, welcoming place for left leaning folks to gather and speak freely. Our members share thoughts, ideas, and opinions in a safe and respectful space. We value equality, inclusion, truth, freedom, and Democracy. We strive to educate ourselves on issues that impact us locally in Yuba County and the foothill communities, while keeping informed with the facts on issues that have National, Worldwide and Generational impact. We come together to organize and engage in activities to support candidates and legislation that align with our ideals. Our goal is to improve the lives of all, while developing cohesiveness, friendships, and collaboration with other progressive groups in support of We the People.
See events page of this website.
We work in tandem with the Yuba County Democratic Central Committee on fundraising and protest events.
We have fun social fundraising events to support our local efforts and candidates.
We offer support and forums for potential candidates through house parties and meetings.
We volunteer at events like the Plumas Lake Block Party, the Veterans Parade, and Peach festival.
We share friendship and ideas at the monthly Koffee Klatch where we connect people who share hope for a better future.
We participate in community service food drives, park and highway clean up, etc.
Cindy rant:
Here in Northern California we have a 40 year old Congressman that lie’s blatantly to sell his soul to the MAGA party. Kevin Kiley, you can’t take credit for things you didn’t do. You can’t spin numbers that are not there. You can’t say you represent the majority of your constituents when you only represent the lap dog of the president.
