C4 Mobility GREECE

The teaching-learning activities carried out during the C4 transnational meeting, from March 6 to 12, 2022, in Karditsa, Greece, consisted of the presentation of a video an a drama show prepared by the students in which a relevant event for the democratic system of each country in recent history was reflected.

Monday, 7th March, Trip to Elati

10:00 - Departure from the hotel to Pyli Trikalon Visit to the sights of the area (Stone Arched bridge of Saint Vissarion - Byzantine church Porta Panagia) Departure for Elati with a short visit to the waterfalls of Paleokaria

14:00 - Lunch in Elati (Restaurant “Folia ton kinigon”)

17:00 - Return to the hotel in Karditsa (Free time)

Tuesday, 8th March, Karditsa

9:30 - Transfer to Leontari, at the High School 10:00 - Welcoming at Geniko Lykeio Leontariou by the Headmaster and presentation of the school.

10:30 - Students will be introduced in the classes and will be involved in activities to get them familiar with the school and the new friends.

11:00 - Project meeting: The teachers will have a meeting to discuss the steps of the project in order to improve and implement it sharing all the decisions about it.

12:00 - Departure for the mountain village of Rentina. Visit to the Holy Monastery of Redini- Museum of the National Resistance and Museum of Byzantine Art 14:00 - Lunch at tavern “Drosostalia”

17:00 - Return to Karditsa

19:00 - Tour in the city of Karditsa (Paysilipo, people’s market) - Dinner

Wednesday, 9th March, Meteora and Kalampaka

9:30 - Departure for Meteora (Unesco Heritage Site). Visit to the holy monasteries (Saint Stephen-Barlaam) 12:00 - Visit to the natural history museum in Kalambaka.

14:00 - Lunch in Kalambaka (Arxontariki).

17:00 - Afternoon walk in Trikala.

20:00 - Back to Karditsa

Thursday ,10th March, Plastiras and monasteries

9:30 - Departure for the round of Plastiras lake. Visits successively: Holy Monastery of Korona-Barrier Holy Monastery of Pelekiti-Botanical garden of Pezoula

14:00 - Lunch in the area of Neochori (Chrisopelia)

17:00 - Back to Karditsa (Free time)

Friday ,11th March, presentations-certification-evaluation

10:00 - Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Karditsa. 11:00 - Departure for Sofades through Leontari, for the final presentation of the program at the Cultural Center, in the presence of the Mayor and other local authorities.

12:00 - Drama show, video presentations

13:00 - Participant signatures and certificates 14:00 – Lunch

17:00 – Discussion, student evaluation about the activities

18:00 - Back to Karditsa through Leontari.
