What is a Private Pool Party?
A private pool party is any occasion when an Del Prado Swimming Pool Association (DPSPA) member hosts three (3) or more guests in the pool pavilion. The pool pavilion is closed to other Association members, unless a party guest, during the pool party.
Pool Party Conditions
All private pool parties must be scheduled through and approved by NAI/First Valley.
Association members are allowed to schedule up to two (2) parties per month.
Only one party per day will be scheduled.
Pool parties cannot, without exception, be scheduled on holidays.
Maximum pool party duration is 4 hours. Parties may be scheduled for 2, 3 or 4 hours in duration.
Parties may be scheduled between the hours of 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.
Requests are approved on a first come, first served basis.
Pool Party Cost
The cost for a private pool party, including the service of 2 (two) security guards is:
2 Hours $300.00
3 Hours $400.00
4 Hours $500.00
In addition, a refundable $50.00 cleaning and damage deposit is also charged. If the pool is left clean and in good condition prior to reopening the facility to other Association members, the deposit will be refunded. If the area is not clean or if damages have occurred, a service will be hired to restore the area to pre-party condition. If the restoration cost exceeds the $50.00 deposit, the Association member will be responsible for the balance of the restoration.

Private Party Supervision
Proper supervision of a private pool party is the sole responsibility of the DPSPA member(s) hosting the party. The security guards hired to oversee private pool parties are not lifeguards.
One adult must always be present for every 5 (five) children at the party.

Other Private Pool Party Rules
The Association member(s) hosting the party must post a notice on the gates of the pavilion one week prior to the party to notify other Association members of the date, time, and duration of the upcoming event.
Pool capacity is 45 persons
Bands are not permitted. If using a DJ or other personal music, set up should be located near the bathrooms where electrical outlets are located. All music must comply with the City of Las Cruces Noise ordinance.

The DPSPA accepts no responsibility for money, valuables, or other articles belonging to those using the pool, or loss or damage to personal property.
The Board of Directors of the DPSPA, and their authorized security personnel, have the right, but not the duty, to evict any member violating or failing to comply with these rules and to enforce such additional rules and regulations as necessary for the proper and safe operation of the pool. Nothing in these rules should be construed to mean that the Association or its Board of Directors will provide any oversight of the use of the pool.
