Safety is Number One at the Pool. In recent weeks the DPSPA Board has received reports or witnessed pool and pavilion safety hazards. The Board wants everyone to enjoy the pool. "Accidents hurt—safety doesn't.
Diving: Any type of diving into the pool, including shallow diving, is not allowed.
Pool Toys Only: Toys made for use in a pool, such as foam noodles and swim rings and tubes, are the only toys allowed in the pool pavilion. Footballs, baseballs and volleyballs hazardous and could hurt someone when tossed or thrown inside the pool pavilion. They are not allowed in the pool pavilion. Posted July 28, 2021.

Security at the Pool. The Board voted to place in-person security service at the pool on holiday weekends including Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day as well as select times during the week to assure your safety and continued enjoyment of the pool. If you have a security need or concern during hours when a security guard is not present, call HTM Security at 575-524-6904 to request immediate dispatch of a security guard. The Pool is Open! The pool opened on May 15th. 2021 Season access is 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. 7:00 am to 9:00 am use is for lap swimmers. All other hours are recreational. What a welcome event the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown year. It is exciting to see the early morning "lappers" and the mid- to late day pool and sun bathers enjoying this terrific Del Prado community asset!

THE POOL OPENS ON MAY 1, 2022!
The pool and hot tub (yes the hot tub!) will be open to members of the Del Prado Pool Association starting on Sunday, May 1. Pool hours will be 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. 7:00 am to 9:00 am is generally set aside for lap swimmers. The pool is open 7 days a week. We will be posting special hot tub on the web prior to Sunday! Let's have a great pool season!
