Students will watch videos of the following: Working in the Theatre: Lighting Design, Scenic design and Intro to Lighting.
Students will record their notes while watching the films and you may do so on your own notebook paper. Indicate new terms used, description of terms or instruments, and new information you learned. Be sure to give your overall impression and key take aways. All notes are accepted. If bullet points are your preference please include at least 5 bullet points per film.
After you have completed the first three films you will choose 2 additional films that are in BLUE as they will help you with future projects in our classes.
Notes from all films are to be kept on the same page. You may use the Google Document below and submit electronically (put in shared google drive, or print and put in class box, or submit handwritten notes. Notes from all films are to be kept on the same page regardless of taking electronically or handwritten.
IF SUBMITTING ELECTRONICALLY, PLEASE SAVE/MOVE TO YOUR CORRECT FOLDER IN THE TECH THEATRE DRIVE (4TH OR 5TH PERIOD).

Confessions of a Tooth Fairy Script (Theatre Arts 1) Read the script several times. Decide on your concept with a setting and your characterization. The technician assigned to you will serve as your prompter, Stage Manager and your Sound and Prop master.
Working in the Theatre: Scenic Design (Tech Classes) After you complete the performance review, watch the video and type up a short synopsis revealing your takeaways. Keep the synopsis in the 7th period shared folder with your name on it. THEN watch this video Working in the Theatre: Direction and Design and do the same as you previously did with the other assignment. It may be on the same page, and ADDI the differences and similarities between the two videos.
