We have a sound console that can facilitate a CD or an aux cord for an IPad, phone, or computer. However, we recommend running off the aux cord over the CD player if you have to use our house sound. However, due to the age of our current system, it is preferred if you can run sound from your personal sound system. We have a bluetooth speaker to use if you would like. Clinicians and adjudicators will be alerted to the age of our system.
There will be headsets located in the booth and backstage (SR).
If you have any other technical questions, please email Rebecca.phillips@decaturisd.us
Technicians will be in the booth to assist, if needed. We have a full unit set available for use. The pylons are complete wood and do not have sides that are canvas only. Magnets will not work with our pylons.
Technical Note: Due to facility renovations and the covering of our orchestra pit, there is a lack of lighting on the edge of our apron immediately DS. When the pit was covered a few years ago, adaptations for lighting were not considered, therefore leaving dark spots on the very edge of the apron. It will be clearly marked where those dark spots begin so that your students will be aware. Please plan accordingly. The clinician is aware of the situation.
Please see revised light plots below
