A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He’s really only affectionate in private and even then he’s more of a taker than a giver, especially when it comes to your physical affection.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
As a best friend, he would always be there to help you solve any problems you have. He gives off a peaceful demeanor and he’s very comforting to be around. He’s aware of this and he always welcomes you to spend time with him when you’re upset or stressed.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He adores them but he may never tell you. He loves the feeling of being wrapped in your arms. You’re always so warm and make him feel so safe.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
He’s never really thought about settling down. He plans on focusing on his work and investigations for the foreseeable future but he’d be lying if he told you he’s never let his mind drift of to such pleasant fantasies.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
He’d be curt and straight to the point, much like tearing off a band-aid. He wouldn’t want to dwell on it so he’d only focus more on his work in hopes of keeping his emotions at bay.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
He plans on being with you for a very long time so commitment means a lot to him. Despite this, it doesn’t really matter to him if you end up getting married or not, just as long as the two of you can stay together.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
He’s very gentle when it comes to physical touch but it’s a bit different when it comes to emotions. He tends to be very blunt when he talks about how he feels and what he thinks and it takes him awhile to realize that sometimes subtly is key.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
He’s not much of a hugger but he won’t refuse any of yours if you offer him hugs.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
You’ll probably have to say it first and it takes him a few months before he says it often. Once he does however, it becomes a very casual thing that he ends up saying just about whenever it comes to mind.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He usually doesn’t get jealous but he does from time to time. When he does, his only goal is to regain your full attention and to show the other person that only he can treat you like you deserve.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
His kisses are soft and gentle. He likes giving you a few kisses before you leave and once he gets to see you again after a while. He enjoys kissing your cheeks, shoulders, and hands the most.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He doesn’t really care too much for children. He doesn’t have a lot of experience when it comes to children but they seem pulled to him like a magnet.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
He’s usually up early if he ever sleeps at all. If he does wake up with you however, he likes peaceful, quiet mornings spent in each others arms as you both slowly start to wake up.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Nights are usually long endeavors that involve Near working late into the early morning unless you’re able to drag him into bed before then.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
He’d be willing to tell you just about anything once he knows he can trust you. However, you’ll probably have to ask first if you want to know something about him.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
He has a hell of a lot of patience, especially when it comes to you. So much in fact, that you should be very, very worried if he gets angry. Something really bad as just happened and you better run...
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He remembers every little details about you. Even if he finds it out himself.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
Even though he thinks it probably makes him sound selfish, he really likes when you confessed to him. It’s one of his favorite moments with you because it was the first time someone had told him they like him just because he was, well... him!
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Very protective. He would have eyes on you 24/7 if he could. Just to make sure you’re always okay, healthy, and safe.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He may not look like it but he actually puts a lot of effort into making sure you’re happy. He really will do anything he can to make sure you have everything you need.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
Sleeping... he doesn’t really put ‘taking care of himself’ at the top of his list of priorities so you’ll have to help remind him that he needs rest.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He doesn’t really care about how he looks. He makes sure that he looks presentable and that his clothing are in good condition, but it’s not as if the entire world’s going to see him on a daily basis.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
He absolutely would but he wouldn’t say it unless he really did feel like he was about to lose you so just know that he can tell something is really wrong and he’s absolutely willing to try and fix it.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
He loves eating with you and he does like it when you feed him with his head resting against you, your fingers in his hair.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
He hates when you doubt yourself. He understands how important it is for you to have a good impression of yourself and that self confidence really is essential.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
He doesn’t sleep very often but when he does, he’s a very heavy sleeper. And I mean very heavy. He also tends to cuddle up against you and hold you very tightly.
