Details:
A Flu Shot Clinic is planned for October 17th, 1-5pm in the Outreach Center. We need 1 deacon per hour to help run the clinic by managing paperwork and welcoming patients. Dilworth Pharmacy will be giving the shots. We worked with Jenny Doughty (pharmacist) at Dilworth Drug. Her email is jenny@dilworthdrug.com. They don't charge us for the clinic as long as we have a minimum of 25 appointments/shots. In 2024, we had 50. Dilworth Pharmacy can confirm insurance will cover the flu shot by making an appointment at the link above.
Results from 2023:
"At the Flu Shot Clinic, we had 49 individuals who received the vaccine for the flu. I want to especially thank David Cunningham for all his work and effort in organizing the clinic with Dilworth Pharmacy. In addition I want to express my appreciation to Elizabeth Biber, Christie Hinshaw, John Anderson, Rebecca Jane Ponton, Ali McKinsey, and Chris Burns who vounteered to assist in the clinic yesterday. Thank you all for your commitment to this ministry."
