Brooks Moore

Brooks P. Moore is a retired teacher and principal with more than fifty years in public education. In addition to serving our district for decades, he has also served as a Liaison for the Office of School Quality with the South Carolina State Department

I believe that all children can learn. I believe that we need to properly compensate, validate, celebrate and appreciate all educators in our district. I believe that the biggest asset our community has is the Dorchester School System. I believe that all children and educators have the right to a safe and orderly learning environment. I believe that no individual child or group of children have the right to keep a teacher from teaching and a child from learning. I believe that each child has potential and as educators, administrators, parents, and citizens we have a joint responsibility to help them reach their fullest academic and social potential.
