DePAUL COMMUNITY CHORUS AUDIO REHEARSAL TRACKS
Below are the rehearsal tracks and learning aids in preparation for our Fall Concert. There are several recordings by different performers for most of these pieces. Many are mp3 files of audio that has been extracted from YouTube videos for our rehearsal and reference purposes. They are grouped by composer.
Check this site regularly! As we find more recordings and learning aids, they will be posted here as well.
New 9/13/23: Added PDF files of the scores for all the pieces in this concert (see below)
New 9/16/23: Added SATB parts learning tracks for Mendelssohn Songs 1 & 3
New 10/13/23: Added SATB parts learning tracks for Willcocks Magnificat. Note: These are now available in either MIDI format or MP3 format below. (These were originally in MIDI format, and I created copies in the more common MP3 format.)
If using the MIDI files: If they do not play when you click on them, download to your device and try it there. Many music players will play MIDI files, or you can download an application from Google Play or Apple's App Store. Or switch to the MP3 copies and use them instead. (Thanks to Bass [and Thespian] Paul Glick for finding this valuable resource)
New 10/15/23: (from Paul Glick) I found a midi player that works on Iphones, Ipads and Macs. It is called NS Midi Player and it is free, It has a simple interface. The feature that I like is a speed control. You can access it by clicking the clock icon (in the upper right corner). It allows you to slow down or speed up the tempo. Here is a link to this player.
