Many DCC singers are familiar with the pieces we'll be performing at our Winter concert in March 2022 and already have all the printed scores (after all, we prepared for this concert two years ago). But there are a number of new DCC members who want to get acquainted with these pieces, and others who want to brush up before we start rehearsals in January 2022.
Posted here are recordings of the pieces we will be performing at our Winter concert. I've included two recordings of the short Beethoven piece (Elegischer Gesang) and one recording of each of the movements of Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living and Purcell's Funeral Sentences for the death of Queen Mary II. (Note: To download, click on the desired mp3, then choose the download icon in the upper right of the screen)
Also posted are PDF files of public domain scores for each of these pieces. (Note that only three of the Purcell movements are choral). DCC singers who do not currently have the music, you will be receiving the actual printed music at the first January rehearsal, but these scores should be fine for those who want to get acquainted with this music in advance.
Dennis Lord came across these very useful rehearsal tracks when we were preparing this music in 2020:
