Check-in Procedures: [updated 11/29/25]
Bib Number Pick Up
Bib numbers will be assigned at the corner nearest the coaches offices and are to be worn on the front of your competition top. Bib number pick up is NOT event declaration. Meet shirts and some snacks will be available for purchase at this location.
Field Event Check-in
All athletes in a field event shall check-in with the event official at their designated area of competition.
RUNNING EVENT Declaration (all events 600m and shorter)
Please declare with the official clerk at the opposite corner nearest the throwing cage your intention to compete in your registered event 600m and shorter 60 minutes prior to the start of the event. Failure to declare for your individual events may result in being scratched from the event without refund.
RUNNING EVENT Hip Number Assignment (all running events)
All running athletes must check-in with the clerking officials for section and position assignments. For those competing in events 600m and shorter, this will be your second visit, having declared earlier.
Sections will be assigned before the start of the first heat of the event based on seed times for all athletes (but for 600m and shorter, for those who have properly declared earlier for their event). Hip numbers will be distributed upon section assignments. Each event and section will require a newly assigned hip number. Pay attention to signage regarding the location of the body for the hip numbers. Athletes must receive their hip number from the official clerking the events, as any event could undergo reseeding!
No one is permitted to grab a hip number on their own with the assumption that what you see here is final. Additionally, athletes are NEVER permitted to jump into an unassigned section for any reason.
