I am not by nature a morning person, but have become more of one as life requires. I love black coffee, red wine, dark chocolate, and a good dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. These are the reasons I go to the gym four times a week, lol. I met my husband country dancing, and after 22 years of being together, we were finally able to get married, something I never thought would happen.

We love to travel, to experience new things, new cultures, and new people. The world, though small, is still large; a paradox, and I want to see as much of it as I can. Time speeds by, so whenever possible I don't put off until tomorrow.

I'm very open minded and I try not to judge others. I'm open to new things and new adventures, and I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

I’m fascinated by the past, and feel it is our gateway to the future. I believe in compassion, love, and kindness, always.

I feel life should be more like an MGM musical, and I frequently burst into song and sometimes dance, often much to the chagrin of my husband and friends. I believe in happy endings, and strive always to make it so.

Three things very important to me: our environment and habitat, prevention of cruelty to animals, and advancement in medical science.

I rescue earthworms off the sidewalk, catch and release spiders in the house, and always try to be kind to all creatures great and small

I'm extremely organized and very anti-clutter. I try not to put a lot of stock in material possessions, preferring instead to accumulate memories and friendships.

My friend Brenda created this collage of my first four books

This wonderful figurine came to me from our dear friends Jeannie and Clif Gidlund. It reminds me of the character Grant Riker, from book three, "Death Goes Overboard".
