Concerto Armonico #1 in G
III. Un Poco Andante
Score Parts
Notes:
Section barlines appear for each new section. In each section 1, 2 or 3 instruments have the prominent part, and are so marked (solo, due, trio) at the start of the section.
Articulation for the principal distinctive ostinato (found in bar 1 of Cello 5 and continuing throughout the movement in various parts) is indicated at the start of each section, and then marked simile ("sim.")
Articulation for the straight eighth note bars should always be slightly detached. Bowings should generally be in 2, 4, or 6 note units.
Solo articulation is in general legato. Trill markings ("tr") and slurs in the solo part are taken from the original score. Trills should be treated as ornamentation and may be performed to taste. (For ideas, you may wish to listen to a recording. The best IMO is the Camerata Bern's recording.)
