Celebrating Project 1

Hi folks,

I really enjoyed your project one presentations and it was clear that a lot of hard work went into that project. I wanted to share a couple that especially stood out as exemplars for Project 1.

• I thought the UFO explorer was just plan fun, funny, and really enjoyable to look at. In addition, this project did an effective job of using visualization to explore a hypothesis and does a great job at both documentation and making the story clear to the user.
• The Yelp Insighter perhaps gets the prize for 'closest to product'. Of all the projects, it best illustrates how having a clear goal can influence the choice of visualizations and overall narrative.

As usual, there are many more examples I could draw from and share, but I will stop here. Thanks again for all your effort!
